The median was redesigned by the Village of Spring Hill to address the safety concerns of the sidewalk being at road level without any pedestrian barrier. The new design includes a curb on Old Shell Road allowing the sidewalk to be raised 6” off the road making our sidewalk network safer. The project was expanded to add curbs around the entire perimeter of the median and Village pavers making this entrance consistent with others in the Village.

We were able to raise $70,000 in support of this newest aesthetic improvement in our Village. Thank you to all our supporters! It takes a Village to build one!
