The roundabout at McGregor Avenue and Museum Drive has totally transformed the traffic pattern of what was once called malfunction junction.  Since its completion TVSH has been working to enhance the area with landscaping.  In phase #1 of our plan, over $20,000 of ligustrums and live oak trees were planted to encircle the perimeter with lush, green growth.  With the abundance of rain over the past several months, the new plantings have thrived.  Funding for the trees was made possible through collaboration between TVSH and the Mobile Tree Commission and a special gift from the Samford Foundation.  Phase #2 will include the planting of ornamental trees in the green spaces and the placement of more Old Mobile benches like those already in place in the Village.  Phase #3 will focus on the center of the roundabout.  Watch for something really special there!
