This year the City of Mobile, through the efforts of The Village of Spring Hill, Inc., was awarded another state TAP grant for sidewalk construction.  The grant of $200,000 will fund sidewalks on the north side of Old Shell Road from Myrtlewood Lane to the I-65 West Service Road.  Once this project is complete, sidewalks will extend from Lavretta Park all the way to I-65.  The sidewalk project has been approved by the City Council, and construction is expected to begin sometime next year.  TVSH must first raise money for the engineering costs and the 20% matching funds, totaling around $60,000.  You can help!  Please support the 2018 Sidewalk-A-Thon on Friday, April 27, to advance our initiative to build more sidewalks in the Village!
