…A New / Old Concept

Eleven years ago a group of Spring Hill residents set out to initiate positive change in Spring Hill.  The overwhelming desire of residents, property owners, and business owners was to make Spring Hill a truly walkable community with a real neighborhood sense of place.  This is not actually a new concept but an old concept like neighborhoods once were before there was a major focus on automobiles and lots of parking lots in front of buildings.

Jeff and Cheryl Quinnelly embraced this concept and began acquiring dilapidated houses along North McGregor Avenue and demolishing them to make room for their new/old development.  The blue building, which will house a gift shop and art gallery on the first floor and office space on the second floor, is almost complete and is only the first of their planned seven buildings to be constructed in a row for small shops and offices.  Their goal is to serve the surrounding neighborhoods with a development that will be pedestrian friendly and add to the ambiance of historic Spring Hill.
