No More Bits And Pieces (and no more running in the street)!

Engineering plans are being finalized for sidewalks on the north side of Bit and Spur Road, beginning at the commercial area on Old Shell Road and continuing west all the way to University Boulevard.  The project will include repairs to a small “piece” of sidewalks already in place along the route and connect it to the new sidewalks.  Construction is expected to begin in the fall of this year.  The Village of Spring Hill, Inc. is once again responsible for the engineering costs and the 20% match of the state $200,000 Transportation Alternative Program (TAP) grant that was awarded for the construction.  Our total obligation is approximately $60,000.  Fundraising is ongoing for this project.  Please consider a contribution to help fund another great addition to our sidewalk network.
