First to come to fruition will be sidewalks on the north side of Bit and Spur Road from University Boulevard to the commercial area on Old Shell Road. This project is made possible by a $200,000 Transportation Alternative Grant (TAP) secured by the City of Mobile on behalf of The Village of Spring Hill, Inc. The 20% required match of $40,000 and approximate $20,000 for engineering and surveying costs has been funded by TVSH. This $60,000 was raised through the annual Sidewalk-A-Thon events.
